Pablo Francisco

Pablo Ridson Francisco is a Chilean-American comedian who began his career in comedy at an open mic competition at the age of 17 in Tempe, Arizona. One of Pablo Francisco’s comedy styles is his ability to do impressions of celebrities, including Jackie Chan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gary Busey, and Michael J. Fox, among others. Other talents are the sound effects Pablo Francisco can create, including beat boxing, and his gift of imitating the voices of fictional characters such as Count Dracula, R2-D2 and Kermit the Frog.

Another audience favorite of Pablo’s is his over-the-top dramatization of Spanish-speaking telenovelas. Pablo Francisco was asked to join the cast of MADtv in 1990s, making him the first Hispanic cast member in the show’s history. In 2000, Pablo Francisco was given his own “Comedy Central Presents” special, which is consistently one of the top five specials requested of the network. As a nominee of the American Comedy Awards in 1998, Pablo Francisco quickly became a rising star in the world of comedy. Word of his talent spread, and in 2001, he joined Carlos Mencia and Freddy Soto on “The Three Amigos” tour.
